rice paper | Tissues | decoupage

Decoupage technique is comparable to serviette technique or wallpapering. The image is glued directly to the project. The Rice Paper | Tissue is thicker than napkins, more tear-resistant, and has a thick, dense fibrous weave. These properties allow for easier processing. It is not there to cut out individual motifs and stick them on, but to apply them to furniture and home accessories as a complete picture motif and thus beautify them. Due to the thickness, the tissue paper would protrude a few millimeters. Areas of application are furniture drawers, furniture fronts or different interiors that can be pasted over.

After sticking with Dixie Belle Top Coat | Seal and protect clear coat or decoupage gel .

Tip : If you want to stick on a decoupage picture that is to be slightly adapted to the project with paint on the furniture or only individual pieces of the picture are to be cut out and used, then opt for decoupage tissue paper!

Application:

1. Decoupage | Cut tissue paper if necessary.

2. Apply a thin layer of the Dixie Belle clear coat with a brush, apply the decoupage, press down so that there are no creases and allow to dry.

3. Then apply another coat of clear coat. This seals and protects the surface.
