- Decide where you want the motif to be placed. Cut off the edge of the tissue, leaving some leeway.
- Apply Dixie Belle Top Coat Satin - Clear Lacquer to the furniture.
- Then paint the back of the rice paper with clear varnish and glue it on.
- With enough varnish or decoupage glue, you can also move it carefully. Carefully smooth out with a rake, removing any bumps and excess adhesive around the edges.
- Let everything dry completely. Remove any protruding residue with sandpaper.
- Seal with another layer of Dixie Belle Top Coat to protect the decoupage.
Dries in an hour and cures in approximately 21-30 days.
