Application :

Decor transfer foils, also known as decor transfers, can be applied to all smooth surfaces such as furniture, walls, wood, doors, glass and metal. They are detailed, beautiful and easy to use. You can cut out individual motifs and spread them over several projects.

Be sure to rub the transfer film onto the object before waxing or any other finish. The substrate must be dry, dust-free and clean. The paint needs at least 24 hours to dry. Align the motif with the protective paper for viewing and precise positioning on the substrate. Fix the foil together with the protective paper at the corners and/or sides with masking tapes. The protective paper should only be removed after fixing, as the foil and thus the transfer usually adhere immediately. In many cases it cannot be detached again or repositioned - especially with glass, the transfer sticks to glass immediately, correction is no longer possible here.

Then you can carefully transfer the decor to the object with a spatula. During the transfer, carefully lift the detaching upper film and constantly check that all parts of the motif are also sticking to the substrate. Then gently press down with your fingers. To protect the transfer image, paint with water-based Dixie Belle Top Coat / Clear Coat or seal with Dixie Belle Wax (water-based).
