The surface must be clean, dry, free of grease and smooth. For freshly painted or treated surfaces allow at least 48 hours to dry. The paint should be fully cured.

Each transfer consists of two sheets, the matte is the release paper and the other is printed adhesive transfer. After the transfer, the transfer must be protected and sealed with a water-based clear coat. Dixie Belle Top Coat is very suitable for this. The clear coat must not contain any solvents. This destroys the fine rubber layer, similar to nail polish remover.
