D ecor Transfers are images that are transferred to a smooth, clean surface by simply rubbing with a transfer tool (included in the pack). It's fun and easy as pie.
There are floral motifs with writings, animals and much more. You can also combine different slide images with each other. I particularly like the "Paintable Transfers" for coloring in with chalk paint pens.
PREPARATION IS EVERYTHING
A transfer image consists of a carrier film and a protective sheet. To start, test the placement of the slide on your project. Then adjust and crop. Use the rest in the next project. Store the transfer in the product sleeve in a dry, light-protected place. A smooth, cleaned surface is the guarantee for a great result. If you have painted beforehand, the paint must be thoroughly dry. If this is not the case, the color will come off with the transfer or will not stick.
APPLICATION
Place and fix to your project with simple tape so that nothing slips. It's even easier to scratch off when the furniture is lying down. So you have more control and need less power. Push the protective film aside and rub carefully. You will find the spatula in the packaging. What is transferred becomes lighter and separates from the foil. Before removing, check that nothing has been forgotten. Protect your furniture image. Everything went well? Excellent. Then seal the transfer image with a water-based furniture varnish.
IMPORTANT: WATER BASED - Using a sealing product with solvents will destroy the transfer.
