Using Crackle
First, thoroughly clean the furniture with white lightning, our cleaner. Paint the first coat of paint with Dixie Belle Chalk Mineral Paint. This is also the layer of paint on which the paint cracks should appear. If you prefer natural wood grain, brush on a layer of Dixie Belle Clear Coat and let it dry completely. Next, stir and apply Dixie Belle Crackle. Please do not dilute the crack medium. The thicker the layer, the greater the cracking. Work with the hatch brush stroke, then the age cracks become more irregular and wider. Be patient and wait 30 minutes, I even recommend overnight, for Crackle to take full effect. Then apply a top coat of paint. The cracking process starts as soon as the paint dries.
